International Bridge Building contest 2022 - My solution

This year's international bridge-building contest, which promotes the study and application of fundamental principles of physics and also helps high school students develop "hands-on" skills through bridge construction, gave us a constraint in which we needed to construct a bridge that could hold up lots of weight (usually 60+ pounds)
My solution was to build a straight (non-curved) bridge and have the actual bridge be held up by a strong base.
